
Candace Moody is a writer, award-winning blogger, speaker, and career coach specializing in helping people re-imagine their careers at every stage of life. She served as vice president of communications for CareerSource Northeast Florida, the regional workforce organization in Jacksonville, Florida, until 2020. In her role, she helped thousands of workers think differently about their job search and career path through her writing and training. She was part of the State of Florida’s groundbreaking task force on the Gig Economy, one of the first of its kind in the U.S.
Candace’s background includes Human Resources, recruiting, training, and assessment. She spent several years with a national staffing company, serving employers in California and Massachusetts. Her writing on business, career and employment issues has appeared in her columns for the Florida Times Union and the Jacksonville Business Journal, in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and 904 Magazine, as well as several national publications and websites. Candace is often quoted in the media on local labor market and employment issues.
